Rodeo Time, Radiator Ranch, and Netflix
Clint Hopping runs the YouTube channel Rodeo Time. The channel shows ranch life, bull riding and cowboy humour, with Dale Brisby as the face of it.
His day job is at Radiator Ranch Cattle Company, where he is ranch manager. That work is the real base for the videos, and it is what makes the cowboy persona feel honest.
In 2021 he starred in Netflix’s “How to Be a Cowboy”. The show took the Dale Brisby character to a much wider audience, and it is the reason many new fans ask for his real name.
Why a Rancher Needs a Stage Name
Dale Brisby is a character, and characters need names that stick. Clint Hopping is a normal name, while Dale Brisby sounds like a cowboy from a story.
The stage name lets Clint play a bigger, funnier version of himself. On camera he can joke, boast and entertain, while off camera he can simply run a ranch.
That split is the point of the name. Dale Brisby is for the show, and Clint Hopping is the person who does the work behind it.
